I liked the fact that they had a beautiful pool right outside your door. The surroundings were wonderful and we felt very relaxed. I would like to go back soon and take my family to Port Douglas. A great place to escape the bustle of life and chill out a bit, walk along the beach.
The Spa room was very good, and roomy enough Location excellent near beach and McCrossin St Dinner was also excellent The safe was very easy to use
No real complaints - layout of the building initially confusing and difficult to drag cases to our room - 323
Everything was great
Service slow, and suite was on walkway with lots of traffic and people noise as there was a seat outside our bedroom where other guests drank and smoked
The location was perfect, we were able to walk into town and enjoy ourselves without needing to worry about how to get back to our accomodation. The setting was lovely around the lagoon pool and Brian the conscierge was very helpful. The setting of the restaurant was also lovely.
The lady who checked us out was a bit flustered. There were a lot of young children which we weren't expecting.
Great location, easy walking distance to the main centre, shops, restaurants, marina etc. Great pool setting.
Lack of breakfast options, no full buffet on most days we were there.
Peppers Beach Club is a very relaxing place. Perfect for honeymooners with direct access to the swimming pool from the spacy apartment. We had a most enjoyable couples massage at the spa. Very friendly staff and wonderful dinners. Go for a boat trip and dive at the Great Barrier Reef!
There was ample room for a teenage family and the beach pool and facilities were great.
The living area had a musty smell.
location, relaxation, piece and quiet.
I would like to make a complaint about the hotel taking off our credit card the fee over 2 wks prior to our stay without authorisation. If I had wanted to cancel I would have had trouble getting my money back. This was supposed to be the advantage of Booked.net to be able to change short notice if we wanted to. This should not have happened and I would be glad if you could get into contact with the organisation regarding. The hotel itself said that this had nothgin to do with them but with Mantra.
As often the case at Australian Hotels the prices are high and the service is marginal - some examples inlcude hotel restaurant closing at 8.30pm when our flights arrived at 9pm. Lunch not available until midday.
Excellent location, close to the beach and to the main street. An easy stroll to everywhere. A good large swimming pool.
The pool loungers were filthy. When I queried their condition I was told ' oh well, it's the suntan oil'. Our room was only serviced once before 2.30pm when I specifically insisted on it. When I asked if it could be serviced earlier as we wanted to snooze after lunch I was told it was impossible as new arrivals were more important. (Since checkin was at 2pm, this was patently ridiculous.) The coffee included in the breakfast was undrinkable - from an urn, lukewarm and so weak it made American coffee seem strong. Generally the continental breakfast was poor, the incentive being to get you to order the cooked meals. The complex is principally units, we felt we had paid for an hotel but not really got one.
We loved the ambience and tranquility of Peppers and it was beautifully set out, the pool setting was absolutely gorgeous with the restaurant and lounging areas. At night it was absolutely gorgeous and we couldn't rave any more about it than we are.....a perfect location to Macrossan st and the beach and we will be back hopefully sooner than later! The food was superb and the spa treatment was extremely relaxing Thank you Peppers!
Our room didn't have a microwave so I couldn't have my usual warm milk coffee at night...that is all!
The swimming pool was fantastic - huge. Everything was very clean. Restaurant was excellent. Friendly staff. Lovely soft bed. A really great resort. We will definately be back!
